The Geist Owners Club is about to undergo a makeover, ex National Development Manager for Geist in Australia, Peter Treasure, better know as Geistrunner to his fellow travelers has created the new membership group. Having looked after the Geist Owners Club since the fall of Oakhurst International Caravans, Peter has now been able to give more value to the membership and will take on the membership system for owners on a bigger scale. Once you join the NEW membership group you will receive the Geist Owners E-NEWSLETTER every month, AUDIO INTERVIEWS with Geist management and special guests, DISCOUNTS to service repairers worldwide, access to the membership FORUM, access to our Geist SPARE PARTS database, ALERTS on possible problems that can occur to your Geist, INVITES to GG’s (Geist Gatherings) and an email and telephone HELP desk for those issues you can’t solve from our forum. There are many people asking what has happened to Oakhurst International Caravans, the importers of Geist. Unfortunately they have gone into voluntary receivership and are no longer bringing caravans into Australia. This doesn't mean that Geist has gone from Australia. The factory in Germany, LMC, is working tirelessly hard to appoint new management in Australia for the Geist brand. A legal issue has also arisen and this may take a while. In the mean time I am voluntarily looking after the accessible parts of this website, the Owners Forum and Owners Club until further announcements can be made.

The best way of existing owners finding out more up to date information about the situation is to go to the FORUM link from this website and peruse the topics about this subject.

For potential new owners of Geist, don't despair there are a few NEW vans available for sale from the Melbourne, Horsham, Hobart and Townsville dealers. My advice is buy now before any new stock comes into Australia from Germany at a higher price.

Those enquiring about parts, some parts were auctioned on the 7th May 2009 in Brisbane and those requiring specific parts can email me at peter@treasurestudios.com.au. I have some knowledge of where some parts are and am willing to place you in touch with the appropriate people. To aid in this process please email me a photo of the part required, the model of Geist and the year of compliance. Smaller parts can be accessed direct from Germany and be in country in a couple of weeks, a more cost effective and quicker way may be to contact me first to see if that part is already in Australia.
