    We have come up with dates for the Rallys talked about above. I will be leading them in conjunction with Doug Myers, also from Geist Direct. These dates are:

Itinerary-Wine & Cheese - SA to VIC

15 Nov  Meet at Blanchetown Caravan Park (BIG 4)
16 Nov  Settle in and trip to Morgan or Renmark for those who wish.
17 Nov   Move down to Barossa.
18 Nov   Wine tour in a bus we hire.
19 Nov   Travel via the Adelaide Hills to McLaren Vale
20 Nov   Wine Tour in McLaren Vale region. Own cars.
21 Nov   Free day to travel to Kangaroo Island or Victor Harbour (general area)
22 Nov   Travel to Robe.
23 Nov   Visit Coonawarra region.
24 Nov   Travel to Mt Gambier and on to Port Fairy
25 Nov   Visit local attractions
26 Nov   Travel to Port Campbell, visit local attractions such as London Bridge, The Grotto, Twelve Apostles. Official meeting for Geist Owners Club here.
27 Nov   Travel to Apollo Bay. Visit attractions on the way.
28 Nov   Visit Winery and Farm at Apollo Bay, visit seafood factory. Last dinner together.
29 Nov   Travel to Torquay via Lorne. 30 Nov – Those going on next tour stay at Torquay, others we bid farewell.

Itinerary - Snowy Mountains Tour

30 Nov  Meet at Torquay Caravan Park
1 Dec   Travel to Queenscliff to catch ferry. Arrive Sorrento and travel on to Phillip Island.
2 Dec   Visit local attractions on Phillip Island.
3 Dec  Travel to Yarram via Wilsons Promontory
4 Dec  Visit Hiawatha Falls, Tarra-Bulga National Park and other local attractions
5 Dec  Travel to Dargo via Lindenow, Wuk Wuk (my parents farm for Garden open).
6 Dec  Trip to Dargo High Plains without vans, Car pool if necessary.
7 Dec  Travel to Buchan via Lakes Entrance
8 Dec  Visit Buchan Caves.  Official meeting of Geist Owners Club
9 Dec  Travel to Omeo via Swifts Creek.
10 Dec  Visit Anglers Rest and Dartmouth dam for the energetic in 4WDs (car pool)
11 Dec  Travel over Mt Hotham to Harrietville and stop at Bright.
12 Dec  Visit local attractions, secret book author visits us.
13 Dec  Travel over Mt Beauty to Kiewa Valley, past Tallangatta to Corryong.
14 Dec   Travel over Thredbo to Jindabyne enjoying the mountains on the way. Final dinner here.
15 Dec  Visit the Mt Kosciuszko National Park at your leisure.
16 Dec  Travel through Cooma to our Capital Canberra where you can spend days looking at National "somethings".

    As a club we can go many places around Australia at a reasonable price having one hell of a good time. At present I am talking to John Eggenhuizen, our tag along tour guru to organise some awsome tours away. Hows this sound, November, Barossa Valley to Melbourne via the Limestone Coast and the Great Ocean road in two weeks, then if you want, on to the Great Alpine way via Lakes Entrance(Gippsland) over Mt Hotham and the Snowy Mountains into Bright, Mansfield and on to Canberra. The big one in March 2009, discounted ferry rides to Tasmania, and travel this fantastic state in two wonderful weeks with a wonderful guide and heaps of fun.
