Geist Caravans & Motorhomes are designed for people with a zest for life.

All of our caravans and motorhomes are built to the highest specification and the German engineering combined with Australian design means that Geist owners benefit from a whole range of features.

You may not be able to see these benefits, but we are sure that you will notice and appreciate them as you use your caravan or motorhome.

The fully bonded construction, GRP double thickness front panel (XK range) and extra thick (100 micron) aluminium mean that Geist caravans & motorhomes are among the most robust and hardwearing available.

Geist's award winning caravans are the most popular European brand in Australia and have stood the test of time after four years on Australia's roads. We feel that this is a testament to the build quality of our vehicles.

Geist caravans have a longer draw bar for added towing stability. This also gives you easy access to the large front boot, which has a solid steel floor lining. Our caravans are built on the BPW V-Tech Swing chassis which is specially designed for Australia and unique to Geist. Winterhoff stabilizer hitches are fitted standard on all caravans for added safety and to reduce swaying. These features, in conjuction with the suspension damper also fitted to all models as standard, provide enhanced towing and road handling ability - one less thing to worry about.

Geist caravans have ducted air venting in key areas, for example, behind the furniture, to minimise condensation formation. They also have 24 Tog Swedish insulation to ensure that our caravans remain cool in the summer, but retain heat on colder days and nights.

Geist caravans are roomier than you might be used to. We have designed them to give you extra height (6'4") so that you have the maximum possible living space. Our bed sizes are generously proportioned too. And all of our upholstery is flame retardant and meets all European and Australian fire regulations.

Finally, and just because we like to give you that extra touch of luxury, we've added leather as an optional extra for your lounge on the Xklusiv 630 & 660 range.

And those are just the features that you can't see.

Many of the benefits of a Geist caravan are immediately apparent as soon as you look around.

From the outside you will see the Alloy Wheels (XK Range) and the extra smooth, glossy side walls which mean that your caravan will stand out in a crowd.

Caravans in the Xklusiv range come fitted with a window in the front door; all models have a spy hole for security, a bin and lots of storage compartments.

The entire Geist product range from Caravans to Motorhomes are made in the prestigious LMC factory in Sassenburg, Germany. Known for their manufacturing prowess, the LMC company provide hundreds of vans and motorhomes to Australia each year. The factory alone provides many thousands more across Europe. The entire Australian range of caravans and Motorhomes have been tirelessly engineered and tested for our conditions, with added structural and chassis modifications creating a superb product specifically for the Australian market.

Australia's entire Geist range are imported under strict Australian compliance regulations by Oakhurst International Caravans and go through vigorous testing before being delivered to you. Full service facilities are available at most of the 9 Australian authorised dealers. As we do in Europe, a range of Service Agents are constantly being appointed in the event of any breakdowns on your trip. Oakhurst International Caravans always keep a good range of spare parts within Australia that can be delivered expediently to any service agent or dealer within 24 hours. In many cases agents and dealers keep stock of some naturally wearing parts. All our Geist motorhomes are covered mechanically under the Australian warranty specs. of each specific chassis base, e.g. Mercedes Benz (Phantom), Ivecco (Avocca).

    For many, touching and feeling a Geist is achieved in one of our yards or more commonly at one of the many caravan shows around Australia. The decision to buy should be done in the comfort of your own home, not in a sales yard. This is recognised in the UK with most if not all vans and motorhomes being ordered via the Geist Direct website. We don't expect all our customers will decide to purchase through our shopping cart right here but mostly ring or email for further information and fly or drive in to their closest Geist yard and pick up or tow test their new Geist. Our team of Geist Direct agents aren't there to just sell you a caravan or motorhome, there job is to inform you of all the information you require to make your own informed decision. Your agent will make a time for you to see a Geist if required and even tow one to you if the need is there to do so. So now you can see, the process is a very personal and relaxing experience with no pressures, just plain old fashioned fair dinkum service, and always with a smile.
